What is Jambo?
Jambo is a mobile blockchain network project aimed at revolutionizing decentralized finance (DeFi) by offering innovative solutions in scalability, security, and user accessibility. The African Web3 company launched the Jambo phone last year and announced the launch of the J token in January 2025.
Who founded Jambo?
The Jambo Project was founded in 2021 by James Zhang, the founder and CEO, together with his sister Alice Zhang. James Zhang holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New York University (NYU). The sibling duo, passionate about blockchain technology, established Jambo with the mission of connecting millions (and potentially billions) of people to Web3.
