Brother of the sky,
keeper of the high winds,
I kneel before your shadow,
my hand open, my heart bare.

Your wings hold thunder,
your eyes hold fire.
I am but a warrior of earth and bone,
yet my spirit longs to rise with you.

Come, mighty eagle,
let us be bound as kin.
Your talons in the storm,
my blade in the soil.
Together we will guard
the rivers that sing,
the mountains that remember,
the graves of our ancestors
who walk still in the wind.

No conqueror shall take this land,

In the heart of the flame, a story takes flight, on the wings of a dragonfly, stitched into the light. In many Native cultures, this messenger moves between worlds, a shimmering bridge for the spirits of our children. Its wings, woven from memory and promise, carry the songs that the earth still hums for the little ones she keeps safe.

It dances where the wind remembers the whispers, a guardian for the voices that will never fade. Each beat of its wing is a drum in the ceremony, a prayer that echoes: We are still here. Our children are sacred songs, their lives a beautiful, unbroken thread in the grand tapestry of our people. The dragonfly lifts them, light as prayer smoke, reminding us all of our duty to protect, to remember, to care.
