Spent the day at , a garden center in Venice, for a seminar with collage artist Ann Field and her longtime collaborator, photographer .

Ann has spent years creatively interpreting her clients’ work using fabric, florals, even Hermès textiles as artistic elements and backdrops to see familiar work in a new light.

Art shared images from lush gardens and from the most unexpected places… even a CVS parking lot.
🌱
A reminder: creative work doesn’t expire.
It evolves.

And artists who stay curious keep growing — just like the plants at Flora Grubb Gardens.

For the next few weeks, I’m sharing “Flowers at 9AM”
A small daily ritual from my desk.

This month is full with deep client work and final edits on my forthcoming book, Reframe.
Writing. Building. Editing. Showing up.

When the work ahead of me feels big, I bring in something beautiful to keep me grounded.

Fresh flowers on my desk is a small act of quiet and care before the day begins, a practice in creative maturity.

I’m fully caffeinated and ready to continue editing the final draft of Reframe!

I’ve written this book for mid-career professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs to encourage you to look at your work and life not through the lens of “what’s over,” but “what’s possible now.”

Our stories aren’t finished. They are evolving. And our experience is our greatest strength.

I am almost done editing the final draft. I will be self-publishing Reframe at the end of March. It’s been a great experience that I can’t wait to share with you!
