Studios is making magic happen. With the unique and innovative initiative, Remezcla brought together different musicians from the Ligas Mayores label to create a collaborative EP. We’re also premiering an exclusive short film capturing the process today, including Adrian Chaparro, Fiino, Martin Marquez, and Archivo Secreto’s new single
“Dulcecito.”
During Latin Grammys week in Las Vegas last year, Remezcla Studios launched to bring Latine artists from diverse genres together and help them connect.
The initiative also facilitated special collaborations among the artists, who wrote, recorded, and produced in a pop-up recording studio. One of those collaboration sessions led to an upcoming EP by Ligas Mayores’ música mexicana stars Adrian Chaparro, Fino, Martin Marquez, and Archivo Secreto.
“At Ligas Mayores, we see projects like this as a natural extension of how we develop our artists,” Alina Escarcega, general manager of Ligas Mayores Records & Publishing, tells Remezcla. “We focus on shaping sonorities within Regional Mexican music that respect its roots while exploring new sounds, narratives, and identities. Our community is constantly growing and evolving, and the music has to evolve with it. Initiatives like this give our artists space to collaborate, experiment, and step outside their comfort zone. That exposure pushes them to evolve both sonically and in how they see themselves within a broader cultural conversation.”
