“We were told that we would see America come and go. In a sense America is dying, from within, because they forgot the instructions of how to live on earth. It's the Hopi belief, it's our belief, that if you are not spiritually connected to the earth, and understand the spiritual reality of how to live on earth, it's likely that you will not make it.
Everything is spiritual, everything has a spirit, everything was brought here by the creator, the one creator. Some people call him God, some people call him Buddha, some people call him Allah, some people call him other names. We call him Tunkaschila... Grandfather.
We are here on earth only a few winters, then we go to the spirit world. The spirit world is more real than most of us believe.
The spirit world is everything. Over 95% of our body is water. In order to stay healthy you've got to drink good water. ... Water is sacred, air is sacred.
Our DNA is made out of the same DNA as the tree, the tree breaths what we exhale, we need what the tree exhales. So we have a common destiny with the tree.
We are all from the earth, and when earth, the water, the atmosphere is corrupted, then it will create its own reaction. The mother is reacting.
In the Hopi prophecy they say the storms and floods will become greater. To me it's not a negative thing to know that there will be great changes. It's not negative, it's evolution. When you look at it as evolution, it's time, nothing stays the same. You should learn how to plant something. That is the first connection.
You should treat all things as spirit, realize that we are one family. It's never something like the end. Its like life, there is no end to life.”

They say the feather is not just a symbol of flight, but a connection between the physical world and the spiritual realm. Long ago, the Great Spirit created the feather as a messenger. It was to carry the wisdom of the earth to the heavens and the messages of the ancestors to the people.
One day, a young warrior found a feather lying on the ground, its markings shining under the moonlight. The feather whispered to him, "I am not just a decoration; I carry the voices of those who walked before you. Listen closely, and you will hear the guidance of the spirits."
The warrior listened, and in that moment, he understood that the path ahead was not just one of strength, but also one of wisdom and humility. He carried the feather with him, and it became a symbol of his connection to the earth and the ancestors.
The lesson of the feather is clear: Even the smallest symbol can hold great meaning and wisdom. It reminds us to listen carefully and honor the guidance of those who came before.
True strength comes from understanding and respecting the wisdom that has been passed down through generations.

“The One Who Stands Between Worlds”
— A legend of strength in stillness

They say there is a guardian who does not chase, does not flee —
but simply stands, where forest meets sky, where silence meets thunder.

The bear walks not to conquer, but to remember.
Every step sinks into the earth like a memory returning home.
It listens to the roots. It tastes the wind.
And when the world grows loud, it does not speak louder —
it becomes quieter.

In Native stories, the bear is not just strength —
it is balance.
It is the great pause between heartbeat and breath.
It is the reminder that stillness is not weakness, but wisdom.

The elders say:
If you ever see a bear sitting alone, unafraid, unbothered —
do not run.
It is not hunting.
It may be holding space for you —
for your truth, your sorrow, your beginning.

Its name is Makatah —
“The One Who Stands Between Worlds.”

So this happened in Montana. I'm on my way to go to my interview this morning when I get pulled over. By a Montana officer. I am native American and my friend that was with me is black. Just saying. Both brake lights decided to go out this time. As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said, "Don't worry about pulling anything out. I just want you to know that your brake lights are out." So I'm immediately upset, because I just got them replaced like last month. So I explained to him how Firestone wants to charge me $600 just to run a test on the wiring of the car. He looked at me like 😨 and told me to pop the trunk. He checked the lights in the trunk and tapped them, but they didn't come on. So he told me to pop the hood to check the relay box then asked me to get out to check the other one. Then worked on the wiring under the dash. He could've easily given me a ticket, but Officer Jenkins stepped out of officer role, and into mechanic role, and human role. to make sure I was straight. By the way HE FIXED THEM. Not everyone is racist, or a bad cop

“The Owl and the Flame of Knowing”
An inspired retelling from Hopi & Apache wisdom

Long ago, when the world was still young,
Humans lived without fire — cold in the dark, afraid of what they could not see.
Each night, the shadows crept in, and the people prayed,
“Who will bring us the light?”

The wolf said, “I will hunt for it.”
The eagle said, “I will fly to the sun.”
But only the owl, quiet and unseen, watched in silence.

One night, the owl flew higher than any bird,
To the mountaintop where the gods guarded the Flame of Knowing.
They said: Whoever nears the fire will be burned — for truth is not gentle.
But the owl did not fear.

It did not want fire for warmth.
It wanted fire to see — to see what others could not.

The owl perched before the sacred flame.
It did not cry out or demand.
It only watched… and listened.
And the flame, fierce and proud, grew still.
It left behind a spark in the owl’s eyes —
A gift of sight beyond the veil.

Since then, the owl has seen through shadow.
It became the keeper of forgotten knowledge,
The one who walks through darkness without losing its way.

The elders called it:

“Yuna Nashi” – The Night Whisperer

“The Keeper of Small Joys”
The hummingbird was not made for power, nor for battle.
She was made for beauty — not the kind you boast, but the kind you notice when you're quiet.
She dances between blossoms, drinking from the heart of flowers.
She is so small, you might miss her — unless you're paying attention.
And that is her gift:
She reminds you to pay attention.
The elders say:
“Hummingbird carries the voice of the ancestors — soft, but always present.”
She appears when the heart is tired, when the soul forgets the taste of sweetness.
And in a single moment — a flash of green, a whisper of wings —
She brings you back to the present.
Not to change the world.
But to remind you it’s still beautiful.
