Headshot Pose Tip for Actors that wear glasses:

Positioning: Have a slight tilt of your head, so it can maximize any glair in the lens if you choose to keep the lenses inside the frames.

Posture: Maintain a strong spine with good posture to avoid your glasses from slipping down your nose or appearing crooked.

Expression: confident and relaxed expressions often work best. Avoids squinting due to glare as this can make you look tense.

You may or may not know this next Headshot Tip…but if you want to be photographed in your glasses because you normally wear glasses. I recommend using a cheaper pairs of sunglasses and taking out the reflective frames so there won’t ever be a glare in your eyes.

That was the secret all along. We just remove the frames for the portrait and pop them back in for use.

Aiden W. was all in for his new headshots. He came lined up, outfits ready to go. Mom and Dad came to cheer and support him. The best part was that no time was wasted. We had a zoom call with mom and talked about what roles he’s right for, age appropriate and of course sprinkled in a mix of colors he looked confident and youthful in.
