There are many valuable benefits of being an agency whose team of experts is dispersed around the country. Access to the best talent wherever they live. Presence in key markets where our clients are located. Less time commuting and more time creating. Pajama Pants.
It’s a good thing, and it’s been great for our agency and our work. But since we’re not in the same place every day, we’ve found it valuable to prioritize gathering in person as often as we can – to celebrate, to plan, to connect. Because BeCore is an agency with proud LA roots, one of the annual rituals we’ve created to do just that is “Beach Week”. We take a few days to gather in one place. We take a step back and look at what’s working, and what can be improved. We turn off our phones and laptops and spend a few hours playing in the sand. We eat and drink, and we get to know each other better than we did the day before. It’s exhausting, invigorating, and hilarious. It’s important.
