Hey friends,
It’s been a long road to get here, but I’m so excited to finally share a passion project I’ve been working on for the past year. 🧨
My podcast, Hands On…with Moonstone, highlights artisans, designers and anyone who is or has built something with their hands from the ground up. I’m beyond excited to introduce our very first guest, Susan Lee of , and I’m so grateful for her openness, her time, and for sharing her personal story for this little project of mine.
If you’ve ever worked in a creative industry, you know burnout is very real. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important it is to make space for creativity on your own terms — to create projects that speak to you and more of what you’re trying to achieve. That led to creating Hands On.
I wanted an outlet where I could practice storytelling and reconnect with creativity in a way that felt genuine. One of my favorite parts of my work has always been getting to learn people’s stories and how they found their way into what they do. So I decided to mash those two things together and create something that celebrates other creatives and small business owners.
Because let’s be real, it’s easy to feel like you’re in this alone. But we’re not. There’s a whole community out there full of support, encouragement, and shared experience.
Thank you, Susan, for welcoming me into your shop and your world. It was such a pleasure getting to know you, your creativity, and your story.
