no one really talks about the side jobs, the random gigs, the long days behind building your dream life.

I’ve always had a deep respect for the hustle because I’ve lived it. warehouse shifts, bartending, selling water bottles on the street, picking up whatever work I could just to get myself to the next chapter.

not because it was glamorous. not because it was easy. but because I believe to my core there is something big waiting for me if I just keep going.

this post is for the people working long hours and then going home to work even more on themselves, their goals, their business, their art, their future. this post is gratitude for the jobs that keep us going.

for the people who are tired but still moving forward. for the people who refuse to give up.

Cartagena surprised me in a way I wasn’t expecting. The colors are obviously the first thing you notice but what stayed with me more was the history and rich culture you can feel walking around the city. It’s one of those places that feels alive but also really grounded in everything it’s been through. Craving an arepa de huevo.. Should I book a flight? 🤭

comfort has become my whole personality.

it’s funny because when I was younger, oversized made me feel like I was hiding but now it feels like the opposite. I feel more confident, more myself, more at ease in my body.

As a shortie, there is a little strategy to it…baggy + crop is my strategy. if I don’t buy it cropped, i’ll make it cropped. t-shirts, sweaters, all of it. This helps me feel proportional to my height while not having to compromise on something too tight

anyone else go through this shift?

A little about me… 🎥🎞️

Since I was a kid, I’ve always had a passion for storytelling. I would borrow my parents’ massive video recorder and film family vacations, or my sisters playing house. I have memories of directing little “short films” with my cousins and editing them on iMovie like we were directors in Hollywood.

I later went to art school for film and ended up in visual effects to learn animation, 3D modeling and how to create explosions for movies. It was pretty cool 💥and It felt like a step in the right direction, but ultimately I realized it wasn’t where my heart fully was.

Then came the YouTube era, and something shifted. I started to see storytelling differently. Not just as entertainment, but as a way to really learn someone… who they are underneath everything. Their thoughts, their fears, their joy, their lived experiences.

I remember being so deeply moved watching strangers share their stories in documentaries and interviews. I would sit there crying, laughing, feeling truly understood for the first time just from a stranger being honest about their life online. In that moment, I knew I wanted to be part of that. Storytelling that shifts perspective. That opens empathy. That makes people feel less alone.

And that’s why I’m so unbelievably grateful for the work I get to do now with . It’s the chance to tell the REAL stories that reflect the depth of our community. The kind of stories we sometimes hesitate to share, but when we do, they create a ripple effect.
And I believe that with one story at a time, we’re changing the way people see each other… and maybe even the world.
