I believe the creator economy should be easier to navigate. Today, creators have more opportunities than ever before. But they also face more complexity than ever before. Between content strategy, brand partnerships, monetization, contracts, algorithms, platforms, and an endless stream of advice, it’s easy to know what everyone is saying and still not know what to do next. That’s why I built Learn

With Kubi. My mission is to help creators confidently navigate the creator economy. I don’t believe creators need one expert with all the answers. I believe they need an ecosystem; a network of trusted people, resources, and opportunities that help them move forward with greater clarity and confidence. As a Marketing Account Manager specializing in creator marketing, I bring together my experience working with national brands and my passion for creator education to simplify how the creator economy works. Through educational content, strategic frameworks, workshops, and partnerships, I help creators understand not just what to do, but why it matters. My approach is built on three principles:

1. Educate: Help creators understand how the creator economy works.
2. Strategize: Help creators make informed decisions with confidence.
3. Resource: Connect creators with the people, tools, and opportunities they need to grow. Ultimately, my goal isn’t simply to help creators get more brand deals. It’s to help them build sustainable creator businesses with greater clarity, confidence, and support. If you’re passionate about building a stronger creator economy—whether you’re a creator, brand, agency, platform, or fellow industry professional—I’d love to connect.

The biggest challenge of being a self managed content creator is realizing that you’re responsible for two very different jobs: being a content creator and running a creator business.

Most content creators are really good at creating, but when it comes to the business side of things (pitching brands, negotiating, strategy, taxes, invoicing, relationship management, etc.) they struggle bad.

My goal is to help you go from feeling overwhelmed as a self managed creator to feeling empowered and in control of your creator career.

Follow along, because this is where it starts.

When a new brand hits the shelves that’s an opportunity for you as a content creator. Make sure that before you send your pitch, your page is making a strong first impression. And that doesn’t just mean aesthetically.

Affiliate content creators don’t have to be “spammy”. Sometimes the best strategy is to find what you already use and insert it into conversations organically.

One of the hardest things I’ve had to accept is that access, knowledge, capability, and action are different things.

I can share the opportunity, but that doesn’t mean everyone has the knowledge required to pursue it.

I can teach the knowledge, but that doesn’t mean everyone has developed the capability to execute it yet.

I can help someone build the capability, but I can’t make them take action.

And even when they do take action, I can’t guarantee the outcome.

That’s the part I’m learning to make peace with.

I can share what I know. I can make opportunities more visible. I can create resources, explain what brands are looking for, and help creators understand where their gaps are.

I can also pay attention when people aren’t taking action and ask myself whether there’s something I could explain better or a barrier I could help remove.

But I cannot take responsibility for someone else’s agency.

What you choose to take away from the resources I share is ultimately up to you.

But I’ll remain here, sharing.

Because I understand that readiness doesn’t happen on the same timeline for everyone. Sometimes we encounter information before we’re ready to use it. Sometimes we need to hear something more than once before it clicks. And sometimes we have to grow into the person who can act on an opportunity we once weren’t prepared for.

So I’ll keep bringing the water.

And when you’re ready to drink, I hope something I’ve shared helps you do it.

Did you guess right?

Share with the class 😂. Why does this content fit into the consideration stage of the marketing funnel?

I’ve always stressed the importance of having community, but sometimes it can be hard to access that. That’s why I’m recommending Creator Brand Hub (CBH) PRO. When you register an account using the code LWKPALS, you’ll get access to the Discord group where you can begin building connections with creators you want to join your referral network.

Reach out if you have any questions! Watch part 2 for the step by step breakdown.

Creator referral networks are the underground income stream no one is talking about.

Let’s say a brand reaches out to you for a paid campaign, but you’re booked, unavailable, or just not the right fit.

Instead of simply saying no, you can refer another creator in your network who is a fit — and potentially earn a referral fee for making that connection.

But don’t just start sending your friends’ names to brands.

Build a network of creators you trust, qualify the opportunity first, confirm both sides are interested, and put any paid referral agreement in writing.

Moral of the story: You don’t have to personally take every brand deal that comes your way to create income from the opportunities you attract.

Do real friends pay eachother for business referrals? 🤔

If the introduction is simply a favor between friends, no fee may be expected. But if you’re intentionally operating a creator referral network where y’all regularly pass paid opportunities to each other, then having a transparent referral policy (for example, a percentage of the first project or a fixed referral fee) is often the fairest approach.

The important part is that this is a business relationship layered ON TOP of a friendship, not simply just a friendship in itself. Mixing the two is where things get sticky.

Stay tuned for part 2 Kubi | Creator Marketing Education. If you don’t have an idea of where to start or who to connect with, I got you covered with an exclusive resource.
