This exhibition explores the achievements and challenges of Black filmmakers, in front of the camera and behind it, from cinema’s infancy in the 1890s to the civil rights movement. THE FULL LINEUP IS FINALLY HERE ✨ who are you most excited to see take the LA Pride stage? 🌈

“We’re thrilled to have women, the majority of them LGBTQIA+ artists of color, lead our mainstage event to celebrate our return to Pride,” said Gerald Garth, Vice President of Community Programming and Initiatives. “Los Angeles represents a broad range of cultures, backgrounds and identities, especially across the BIPOC communities. Bringing influential and diverse artists is a nod to the many different people reflected within our community.”

Tickets are available for purchase at laprideinthepark.org. General admission passes for the day start at $45 per person and $200 for VIP.

In addition to LA Pride in the Park on Saturday, June 11, the annual LA Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, June 12, in Hollywood, the location of the first permitted gay parade in the world. Over 120 contingents will step off from the iconic Hollywood & Vine, at approximately 10:30am. The parade will be broadcast LIVE by LA Pride’s longtime broadcast partner, ABC7. The parade will start at Hollywood & Vine and after heading west and looping down Highland, will end at Sunset & Ivar.
