Seven years of hypnosis and a coffee game good enough to convince this angel to stay married to me. Life with you has been a boot camp, physically, mentally, financially, emotionally, and spiritually and I so fu**in lucked out with the most extraordinary woman in the world as my forever-eva, foreva-eva.
Love is so not what I’ve seen in movies, shows, or read about in books. Love is a fu**ing beast, and to be good at it, I’ve learned you gotta have game. Not like game in which you can pick up & get the girl, but enough game to keep the girl, convince her that you’re worth spending the rest of her days with game, so much game that even after the honeymoon phase has passed, you exchange words you regret but find love, compassion, humility, and empathy to reevaluate and apologize even when she’s wrong 😜 “I’m 99% positive that I’m the one who’s wrong 100% of the time”.
I truly get to do this life thing with the gnarliest woman I've ever met. I don't know what I got right in the previous life, but I'm so hashtag grateful we get to grow up, f**k up, navigate, live, laugh & love our way through this life where tomorrow is not guaranteed. I fall more and more in love with you as each and everyday passes us by Hannah. In the words of Dave Ramsey, you treat me “better than I deserve.”
Not her birthday, not our anniversary, just an ordinary day showing love and gratitude to the one human being that loves me more than my dogs and my dogs fu**in love me a s**t ton. Literally.
