Done Playing It Safe.

Ten years ago, I took a leap and moved to Los Angeles because I believed there was something bigger for me. Somewhere along the way, I started sleeping on my own potential. I overthought things, got in my own way, made decisions that put my life in places I never wanted it to be, and spent too much time thinking about what I could become instead of doing everything required to become it. Now I’m entering year ten in LA, and I refuse to let another ten years pass knowing I could’ve given myself more.

So for the rest of this year, I’m choosing me. I’m done playing it safe. I’m creating what’s in my head, betting on my ideas, pushing my body, building my future, taking the risks I’ve been afraid to take, and putting real action behind the life I keep saying I want. I don’t know exactly where all of this is going to lead, but I know where staying comfortable leads. I’ve already seen that version of the story. It’s time to write a different one.
