Authorities are warning iPhone users of one of the features from the newest iPhone update.

The feature called “NameDrop” is enabled by default with the new update. Anyone with this feature can place their phone next to your iPhone or your child’s iPhone and automatically receive their contact information.

Police said information passed to another phone could include a picture, phone number, email address and more.

To disable this feature, police said to go into your iPhone settings, click general, then airdrop and shut off “bringing devices together.”

Our Story

Social Rhonda was born by accident...

In 2004 Rhonda Blandford was not only younger, but she was still a Traveling Charge Nurse. One day after a particularly hard week, Rhonda made the decision to open a business. In her plans would be something that encompassed art, food, and pleasing people... all of Rhonda’s favorite things. So, Country Sweets Bakery & Gift Shop was born. It was great, but something was still missing for Rhonda. One day while putting up “Home-Made” Flyers, another small business owner and friend of Rhonda asked who made her Marketing Materials? Not thinking much of it... Rhonda told her Biz Friend that she makes them herself at home from her computer to save money. Rhonda’s Biz Friend was excited and asked if Rhonda could make some cheap for her too? Of course Rhonda said yes, and slowly.... other Biz Friends came for help until there were more Biz Friends than Sweets Friends. Sensing this great opportunity, Rhonda decided to Close Country Sweets and focus on Marketing, Sales, and Design.... She went back to College and Studied Business Management at Ohio Christian University, and then moved on to Marketing with a minor in Sales at Devry Business School.

Soon, the evolution of Social Rhonda was born, and Nurse/Baker Rhonda was in the distant past. All it takes is a spark to ignite a flame... Is your business ready to Shine Bright?
