My wife and I were in our garden and I noticed these 3 plants. I thought they represented a great lesson for us business owners. So I wanted to share… Stay with me here… it’s a goody. Interestingly enough… each plant was planted in the same soil. Under the same sun and watered the same way. All were planted at the same time. Yet they all grew over the past few months… dramatically different sizes. The one is the small pot stayed small and only grew into the max amount of its container. The second in the bigger pot grew a bit bigger. It’s roots grew wider, the leaves bigger. Even popped a flower or two. By far the plant with no pot grew the most. It overtook other plants. It had zero constraints to limit its growth. So how is this silly plant story useful to you as a business owner? The constraints you put yourself in keeps you at that level. Like the small pot, those that choose to only stay there, what they know… they constrain their worldview of what’s possible to only grow as big as that pot. For those that expand their minds to what’s possible… allow for a larger pot if you will… well those grow triple in size. And those lucky enough to be free of the pot altogether… well they spread like wildfire. As a business owner you have some limiting beliefs. They are like the pot that constrains you to only allow for so much growth. It limits you to what’s possible. How much you can charge.. what you are capable of… It’s that voice in your head that discourages you to pick up the phone and start dialing or take that leap of faith. It’s that feeling inside… that fear that says you can’t. Stay small. Stay comfortable inside the pot you hold so dear… The difference in you and the pot is that your personal pot is self governed. You my friend, get to choose the size of the pot you stay inside. - DB

Nobody's that cool.

Leads don't magically show up. It takes attraction. It takes a system to generate them.

Fact: you don't get more leads/traffic from your ad agency or vendor's sales commissions, overhead, markup, etc.

After reading that you probably have had that feeling before haven't you? Like something is wrong in this vendor world... You don't know what it is, but you feel it. The prices you pay to get customers... it is too much for what you get in return.

Truth. Take customers down the paths you want them to follow. The more "hand-holding" you do, the more they will accomplish the tasks you want them to do. Want more opportunities?
