Are you a Bluegrass band with dreams of gracing the stage at Bourbon & Beyond? We're on the hunt for the next big Bluegrass band, and it could be YOU. Battle of the Strings is BACK! 🌟🪕

Here’s out it works:

Submit a video of your performance by June 14, 2026, then a selection committee will narrow it down to the top four bands to perform at our semi-finals on July 11th, 2026. During the semi-finals, our judges will select two acts to make it to the finals on July 18, 2026. At the finals, our judges will award the Grand Prize, an opening slot at Bourbon & Beyond Festival. Plus, all participants will receive passes to the festival!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the waterfront this weekend.

Unfortunately, because of rising river levels and challenging currents, to protect the safety of everyone, we are canceling the paddle portion of the Mayor’s Hike, Bike & Paddle.

We’ll still be hiking and biking, so join us downtown at Waterfront Park on Memorial Day.
