At one point, David talked about being at a business opportunity meeting and noticing a guy pull up in a very fancy car. The car caught his attention, but it was the idea behind it that stayed with him. That was the first time not working for someone else felt like a real possibility. One thing David shared that really stuck with me was his first “yes.” Getting paid before knowing exactly how the work would come together, trusting himself to figure it out as he went. All he had was a laptop, a basic website builder, and the confidence to try. Those moments have a way of showing you you’re more capable than you think.

The idea of templates can feel abstract until you realize it is really about deeply understanding one type of client and solving the same core problems over and over again in a clean, thoughtful way. When you slow down enough to identify real pain points, building a $100 to $300 a month offer stops feeling complicated and starts feeling obvious.

A lot of businesses are either not automating at all or they have gone so far that no one actually wants to use the system. What usually works best sits somewhere in the middle. When onboarding feels smooth, follow up feels thoughtful, and growth happens naturally, everything else gets easier to support. Focusing on what truly matters tends to simplify more than adding anything new.

Mobile optimization used to feel way more complicated than it needed to be. Small spacing or font changes could turn into extra work fast. Some of the recent improvements in GHL have made it easier to let those adjustments live where they belong. It makes building for mobile feel a lot more doable.
