Seven years of Outer Banks has made quite the impact on Charleston 🎬🌴

Beyond bringing the Lowcountry to screens around the world, the hit Netflix series has helped drive tourism, introduce new audiences to Charleston and shine a spotlight on local landmarks including award-winning wedding and events venue Lowndes Grove, which serves as Sarah Cameron’s family estate in the show.

The Post and Courier caught up with Charleston businesses and vendors who played a role in the show production to explore the show’s lasting impact. Patrick Properties Hospitality Group Executive Director Amber Cote shared how Outer Banks showcased the beauty of Charleston to a massive audience while giving viewers a glimpse of Lowndes Grove that many may never have otherwise experienced.
