Allow me to ask for just a moment of introspection.
Left or right, you well know this election will usher in a sea change to this country.
Be honest - you know what Trump did: best economy in decades, no wars, highest wages, lowest minority unemployment ever, a secure border, the biggest middle class tax cut ever and our enemies held at bay.
Since that time, groceries are up over 30%, fuel nearly 50%, homes are unaffordable and we are in a seeming perpetual recession. There are 2 wars raging with countries that have or are close to having nuclear weapons and we have no leader in charge.
You may like Kamala - so what? You may hate or love Trump - so what? We all agree that what we need right now is a return to sanity and strong leadership and of the 2, only Trump can do that.
Here’s my proposal. Trump only has four years. Let him do what he has done before in those four years and get this country back into a zone of safety, security and prosperity. At the end of those four years, we will see if either party can nominate a great leader to move us forward and address the concerns of the people.
Speaking of that - What about your other political goals and aspirations for this election? Should you just give up on them? No. There will be a better time to address those things that we disagree about after we restore some of the foundational needs of this country.
I know you’re concerned about abortion. Contrary to news reports, abortion has not been banned. It is readily available all over the country in most states, and the states are who now controls the availability of abortion, not the federal government. For your side, let’s look at it this way - the WORST than can happen is that some babies may be alive at the end of these 4 years that would otherwise not make it. PLUS the stats indicate that abortions have actually increased since the demise of Roe versus Wade anyway, so it does not appear there is any lack of access.
My point here is that you are giving up nothing in your commitment to the abortion question by electing Donald Trump for four years.
After abortion, we still disagree on many issues like the role of government in education, healthcare, and many other things. We disagree on so very many other things, even down to the definition of the sexes! However, none of those issues will matter if we become mired in a world war three and are unable to support our families because we are in an economic depression.
Finally, I want to say that you know Donald Trump. Whether you love him or hate him, you know what he will do because he’s already been in this position. He is no fascist dictator, waiting to declare martial law. If he wanted to do that, he would’ve done it when he was president. I will say the same for Kamala Harris if she wanted to solve these problems in the United States, she would have done them with Biden in the past four years. And THAT is the point of my plea…
These are the things we KNOW. Let’s make a decision based on that and not ideologies, speculation and emotion. Let’s get our country back in these next four years. Let’s restore our economy, our security, and our borders. Once that’s done, we can start fighting again about all the other stuff, but for now,
PLEASE vote for Donald Trump.
