Things have been quiet on the surface for Starry Night Consulting!

In June, some folks noticed we changed the email contact information for the page (I actually got several notifications that it was wrong). This was intentional.

Christie started this business to bring her own style and voice to the marketing world. She was so good at this, she was hired by one of her clients to do their marketing full time!

By way of introduction: HI! I'm Jen! I have the honor and privilege to be Christie's sister all her life! We share a lot of things in common; our wit, dedication to our work, and our unique way of doing things amongst the list.

I am pleased to take over in her stead and provide the same quality content to our clients as she did, and I look forward to continuing to meet YOUR business needs in the years to come!

An increasing number of brands are recognizing that Mother's Day isn't always a positive day for many people. Whether their relationship is far from positive, to loss of motherhood for themselves or the death of their own parent, brands offering opt outs of Mother's Day messages have been received well.

It costs nothing for your brand to be sensitive to difficult issues, but it can be very meaningful for those who it matters to. Have you considered offering an opt-out from Mother's Day messaging for your audience?
