This summer, Apple is rolling out ads inside Apple Maps, placing businesses directly in front of customers when they’re actively searching for products and services nearby.

Apple is boasting a lot of opportunities for local businesses to boost their visibility and revenue, and that may end up being the case. However, it’s not live yet. We don’t know how well it will perform and, like most new ad channels, it likely won’t be perfect at the start.

But that doesn’t mean it should be ignored.
We’re tracking the rollout, preparing early, and getting ready to test it as soon as it becomes available. When new channels emerge, our focus is always the same: understand how they work, measure what matters, and determine if they actually produce results.
