“I got baptized.”
Not a symbol.
Not my work.
God buried my old self, drowned my sin, and raised me with Christ into new life.
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death…” — Romans 6:4
In Holy Baptism, God doesn’t just picture salvation — He delivers it.
He joins us to Christ’s death and resurrection.
He forgives sins.
He creates faith.
This is how God saves by water and the Word.
