Texas Corn Producers

Texas Corn Producers Resolving challenges & creating economic opportunities for Texas corn farmers through promotion, education, research & advocacy.

Texas Corn Producers (TCP) serves the state’s corn farmers through two organizations: Texas Corn Producers Board (TCPB) and Texas Corn Producers Association (TCPA). TCPB is a statewide board funded by a voluntary checkoff program. The program focuses on research, education, and promotion to further the corn industry in Texas, and to create better marketing opportunities for farmers. TCPA is where

advocacy meets action. TCPA is funded by farmer members. Working at the local, state and federal levels, TCPA members come together to ensure the important work of farmers is seen from the fields of Texas to the halls of Congress. TCP’s mission is to be a trusted resource that resolves challenges and creates economic opportunities for Texas corn farmers.

Agriculture is national security. Last week, Texas Corn joined leaders, policymakers, and producers in Fort Worth for the Federal Agriculture Policy Townhall hosted by the Caucus Foundation and Secretary Rollins. Discussions centered on future of rural agriculture and the critical role farmers play in our nation's security.

Thank you to TCP Board Member Todd for sharing the Texas farmer perspective during the luncheon co-sponsored by Texas Corn Producers and Farm Bureau.

Sharing our story matters.

This week, a group of Texas farmers traveled to the CommonGround Conference to connect with fellow farmer advocates from across the country. Through workshops, speaker sessions, and hands-on consumer engagement opportunities, they gained new tools to help answer questions and build trust around food and farming.

Texas Corn Producers is proud to support CommonGround and the farmers who are helping give consumers an authentic, up-close look at modern agriculture. Learn more about CommonGround Texas: texascommonground.com

🌽 Have you checked for corn leaf aphids lately?

Populations have been increasing in Texas in recent years. While infestations rarely reach economic thresholds, heavy pressure can create problems, especially in stressed corn.

The numbers don't add up for farmers. 📉

Since 2020, farm input costs have more than doubled, while farm income hasn't kept pace. That's why Texas Corn Producers is speaking out about the need for transparency and fair pricing in the fertilizer market.
