Samantha Baker, VP of Marketing at First Financial Bank, made the trip from Abilene to share marketing tips and advice for the class.
Amanda Graham spoke on her time as Director of Marketing at TTUHSC. She oversaw the “Future of Health” campaign and shared how the campaign was developed from the research phase to its ex*****on. She also talked about her experience at Communities in Schools.
As a former nurse, Kristi Jordan has taken her time treating patients and turned it into a successful career in healthcare. As Chief Growth Officer, Kristi manages all marketing decisions for the largest family-owned home health care firm in Texas.
Former TTU Vice Chancellor and owner of Second Mountain Coaching, Steve Sosland led an insightful discussion on the importance of core values and what that means in both personal and professional life.
Abie Rampy, Director of PR for The United Family, oversees more than 100 grocery stores in this region. Abie shared PR issues she has to deal with on a daily basis as well as her time with Chick-Fil-A and Bahama Bucks.
Dr. Ben Alexander, CEO of Workforce Solutions of the South Plains, made his first appearance in Mack’s class this semester. The students enjoyed hearing how Ben pursued degrees in art, communications, and business. He also talked about his many years at SPC as the Executive Director of the Lubbock Center and Workforce Education.
Dr. Coy Callison, Professor & Associate Dean for Graduate Studies & Research for CoMC, shared his research experiences working alongside graduate students. He also provided a detailed description of the benefits of pursuing a master’s degree.
Marc Gilmour is the Senior VP for Business Development for MudMixer, a $250M international company with roots here in Lubbock. After a successful career in broadcasting, Marc decided to pursue a career in business development. Fun fact, Marc was a student in the first advertising class Mack taught at TTU back in 1986.
