WE'RE LOOKING FOR DUCK-FRIENDLY VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH WHARF FEST 2023!
We're celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Leonardtown Waterfront Park during First Friday Weekend - August, 4 - 6, 2023. There are a lot of fun activities planned for the weekend including the World's Largest Rubber Duck attraction, live music, kayak rides, cruises, waterman presentations, a vendor & craft fair, a scavenger hunt, art shows, kids' activities, food and fun! Come be a part of the team for this exciting event! We're looking for volunteers, age 17 and up to assist with setup, cleanup and running the event. Boaters! Remember, there isn't a more exciting town, with more to offer in terms of restaurants, Arts and Entertainment, shops... on the entire Bay... than Leonardtown. Yes... a bit of a haul up the Potomac, but well worth it. And now that temperatures are more moderate and Fall is upon us, it's the time to visit. And the new pier makes it easy to tie up and take that quick walk up the hill!
