Hello! Some of you may or may not know I had a battle with breast cancer last year. I had two surgeries: one in May and one in June (lumpectomy). The reason for 2 was bc they didnโt get it all the first time. Then I did over 30 rounds of radiation. I feel very blessed for my journey. Itโs not over, but Iโm on the mend. I lost a very dear friend (Wendy Falcon Jenkins) a couple of weeks ago due to breast cancer. Itโs one thing I can say I hate! So ladies, I ask you to PLEASE get your bo***es checked!! Youโre never too young! I had no history of breast cancer in my family, so trust me, it can happen to anyone!
As a result of breast cancer and treatments, I didnโt get to work as much as I wanted. I felt there were many obstacles in my way. But now, I have rang the bell and ready for new adventures this year! I have a ton of medical bills that I need to pay off, but most importantly, Iโm ready to make those women who sit in my chair feel that amazing feeling that you only feel when youโre about to leave the salon! That feeling of WOW! Confidence! Glamour! Feeling like a million bucks! That giddy feeling of knowing your hair looks good today and will tomorrow also, so letโs go out and celebrate! Ladies, you all know this feeling! And THIS is why I love my job! Who is ready for that feeling?? I have moved to a new location that I am super excited about.
