I took this photo while my husband was working on his car in the shoppe.

There are some beautiful moments to be found in watching someone work.

There are photos from just after finishing with the opening event!
I'm so thankful to be included in the New Local Talent show at Macon Arts Alliance.
The show was amazing, and so are all the artists featured!
It was a pleasure to meet everyone and to see
And her lovely art again! ❤️❤️❤️

The other day I had a moth hitchhike through Downtown on my windshield.

I have this lovely photo as a memento of our road trip together.

Just finished repairing the parts that fell off the strings during the move to the gallery. Just need to adjust placement and height a bit, then "Reflection" will be ready for the show.
Check out the New Local Talent exhibit this month at Macon Arts Alliance!
There will be a virtual artist talk September 3rd at 4pm, tune in from your computer or phone!

Finally finished..sans some touch ups.
Put a white sheet up to help show the color but it wasn't quite large enough to fill in the frame.
So here she is, the 7ft tornado, in motion.
I'm having to manually move it right now, it should move smoother once I've got a motor up there.

Update on the mammoth bead tornado.

Teaser photo.
I'm now on tier five.
I'm almost done and will be uploading all my progress photos and to my website instead of dumping them all on here.
Things have been wild, but I've been moving along.
Forward is the only option in tea like this.
I'll post photos when it's finished, as well as a link to the website where you can see all of the progress images. This project has been enormous, and I'm so thankful for everyone that has helped me with this massive project and also to those of you who shared kind words and kept me inspired.
You are all so wonderful, and you are the reason I kept working.
Stay tuned, there is more to come.

Finally finished carving!
As the clay dries and firms up a bit more I'll be going back to clean up rough edges but the most tedious part is over ❤️ It will be a while before I can access the kiln to fire her.
I'll be deciding on glazes as I wait. ☺️ By the way, this is meant to be a flowerpot for vines when she's finished.

My hands got to tired to finish tonight, but here is the deeper inlay for the details on the back.
I'll be cutting this section out in the morning.
Swipe left to see the front, it's finally finished!
I'll be posting another front and back photo tomorrow when everything is cut out and I've smoothed some of the rough edges out.
