I got back from RollerCon a week ago and I think it helped heal something in me. ❤

Grief is a bitch. And compound grief is that much more of a bitch and I’ve been moving through it for a while now.

But I’ve also been really leaning into finding joy and staying present in that joy when it shows up. And it showed up in a big way at RollerCon.

I’ve been playing/involved in roller derby for 20 years now and this was my 15th year at RollerCon.
(I think we figured out it was Candy’s 16th.)

Both of these facts are mind-blowing to me. It’s extra funny since Vegas is not my scene, but I’ve traveled there more than maybe any other place that I haven’t also lived.

I had SO much fun on and off the track.

I skated in 10 games over 3 days. I captained the League of Their Own game - the Rockford Peaches vs the Racine Belles (where Candice got to skate with me for the first time instead of coaching), skated in a pickle costume, a trash bag, as a clown (in the cutest top that my friend Liz designed), and in a ridiculous throw back outfit during the 15 years of derby game.

Seven of those games were on the bank track - with a few of the games being really quite high level. The highest level game I played in was game #10. I didn’t realize what I had signed up for and it made me so nervous but I held my own. And I learned a ton from a bunch of my higher level banked track friends.

And in between it all, I got a ton of really good hang out time with people I truly love that made me so ridiculously happy.

I didn’t take enough pictures because I literally never do, (All the professional looking pics were taken by Jenni Webber Photography ) but I’m coming away with some really amazing memories. And a f**kton of gratitude.

That $555 bonus disappears at midnight tonight.

Here’s the deal: join Ad Makers Society Annual ($497/year) and you get a free 1-hour 1:1 Done With You Ads Call with me. That offer is gone after tonight.

So let’s answer the questions I keep getting in my DMs.

1️⃣ Who is this actually for?

⚡️ You’re a business owner who wants more clients and customers through ads

⚡️ You’re making under $100k/year and ready to grow past it

⚡️ You’re not ready to hire it out yet, or you want to learn the skill yourself with support

2️⃣ What do you get when you join today?

✅ Twice monthly Office Hours with me. This is the best value in the whole program.

Here’s how it works: we hop on Zoom, you bring your ads and funnel questions, and most weeks you’ll share your screen and we’ll get to work live.

(One of my 1:1 clients got so much done in Office Hours recently that she didn’t even need our next 1:1 call.)

✅ Private Skool community for questions between calls

✅ Regular co-working calls to grow your circle and get s**t done

✅ Instant access to two core trainings:

🎉 All About Retargeting Ads - set up your pixel, build your offer, launch retargeting ads for $5/day

🎉 List Building Ads Lab - run Facebook and Instagram ads that grow a targeted list and sell to it

✅ Bonuses: Canva ad graphic templates, the Ad Makers Toolkit (formulas, swipe files, checklists), and 3 more ads trainings

3️⃣ Do you actually get access to you, Jenn?

Yes. I’m in Office Hours, co-working, and networking calls. I’m inside the community answering questions regularly.

(I know that sounds like a given, but I’ve paid a lot more for programs where the person running it was nowhere to be found.)

During Office Hours you get real 1:1 time. Screen shares, real answers, real work getting done. If the group grows past what one session can hold, I’ll add more Office Hours. You will not get lost in the crowd.

If Ad Makers sounds like a fit, I’d love to have you in there.

“Every time I open Facebook or Instagram, I see you on there!”

That’s what a new business friend told me at a recent networking event.

She said every time she scrolls, there I am, popping up in her feed.

And do you know why?
I practice what I preach. I’m running ads for myself.

I have 2 types of ads that I’m running almost all the time.

But there’s one type in particular that I think every business owner should use.

It’s the same kind of ad that makes my friend see me everywhere she goes online.

And if your business is bringing in less than $100k/year, you should absolutely be running this ad to grow your business and bring in new clients.

And while I usually talk about how you should spend at least $30/day on list building ads, with these, you can spend $5/day and still see some amazing results.

And I want to make sure more of you actually know how to run them.

Thursday, July 2nd at 4pm Eastern, I’m giving a FREE Masterclass all about it:

Most people quit their ads before they’ve even started.

They run one campaign, it doesn’t “work,” and they assume Facebook ads aren’t for them.

But here’s what they don’t realize:

That first ad? It’s not supposed to be perfect.

It’s supposed to give you clarity.

It’s supposed to show you what your audience responds to and what they don’t.

It’s supposed to help you learn.

Ads aren’t a one-click lottery ticket.

They’re a powerful system that gets smarter (and more profitable) the more you test, tweak, and optimize.

If your first ad didn’t crush it? Good.

Now you know what to do differently, which puts you ahead of most.

Want help making sure your next ad is set up for results?

Start with my High-Profit Ads Checklist. It’s free and strategic and breaks down what you need in place before spending a dime on Facebook or IG ads.

Get yours through the link in my bio . Stop guessing; start scaling.

Want to fuel your launch with ads? Timing matters.

If it’s your first launch, don’t run ads yet. Prove it works organically first.

Once you know it converts, that’s when to invest in ads.

For live events? I recommend running ads for at least 2 weeks before, with a minimum $1,000 budget split between warm and cold audiences.

The goal? Predictable results you can scale.

That’s how one client turned $3K in ad spend into $180K and later scaled to a $330K launch.

Ads work best when you know what sells.

Sometimes I'll hop on a call with someone and realize pretty quickly that their people just aren't on Facebook or instagram.

We can't target them easily, the audience data isn't there, and they'd probably have way better luck on LinkedIn.

So I tell them that. Go be on LinkedIn. Run ads there. Or just show up organically where your clients actually spend their time.

I know that sounds weird coming from someone who teaches Facebook and Instagram ads for a living. But I'd rather you put your energy (and your budget) somewhere it'll actually work.

If you aren’t sure if Facebook/Instagram ads are for you, schedule a free consultation and I can help you figure it out.

Stop boosting posts if you want real results.

Boosting = paying for clicks and likes.

But clicks don’t equal sales.

If you want leads or purchases, you need to run ads in Ads Manager and choose the right objective.
The algorithm will do its job if you tell it what you actually want.

Spend smarter by using the right tools.

One of the biggest myths about Facebook ads? That they'll solve everything.

Ads aren't a magic fix if your business isn't already working, your funnels aren't bringing people in, and you're not selling.

You're not "done" with organic because you're running ads.

Organic and paid work best together. Ads can get you in front of more of the right people, but your organic content deepens the relationship and builds the trust that leads to sales.

People need to see you multiple times before they're ready to buy. The more places and ways they can find you, the faster you build that know-like-trust factor.

So don't ditch organic for paid. Use both, and watch what happens.
