Madera County is intending to apply to the California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) to request grant funding for the development of a community park in the Ranchos. Responses to the survey should be submitted by October 22, 2026. The County has scheduled the following community meetings for further public input and to assist in the development of park design concepts:
On Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the County will host a virtual meeting online at this link to discuss survey findings and other information regarding park location and amenities. On Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the County will host an in-person meeting at the Madera Ranchos Branch of the Madera County Library (37398 Berkshire Drive) to present and receive community input on conceptual park designs.
On Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the County will host an in-person meeting at the Madera Ranchos Branch of the Madera County Library (37398 Berkshire Drive) to present and receive community input on a refined park design.
