Vegas, we’re bringing the laptops. 🌸👩🏻‍💻

This June, Sakura will be exhibiting at the Be+Well Beauty and Wellness Show in Las Vegas, one of the largest professional beauty industry events in the country.

This is a big step for Sakura and something I’ve been working toward for a long time.

I’ll be teaching a classroom session during the show about the role websites play in helping modern beauty businesses grow and succeed.

We’re also debuting something brand new. A product years in the making designed to rethink how beauty professionals and entrepreneurs connect and grow their businesses.

If you’ll be at the show June 27–29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, come say hi at Booth #152.

Sakura means cherry blossom. 🌸

For years, this work lived under the name Opanova. About two years ago, Sakura slowly began to take shape as something that felt more personal and aligned with who I am and how I build.

It was also a way to weave in my Japanese roots and bring more beauty, intention, and aesthetic into an industry that has long been driven mostly by technical voices.

Growing up between cultures, I often felt like I didn’t fully fit into just one. Sakura became a reminder that sometimes you create your own space instead.

Cherry blossoms represent renewal and new seasons, which felt fitting.

Sakura became the creative and strategy side of my work, while Opanova continues to support the infrastructure behind it all through hosting and domains.

Different pieces, same foundation.

Thoughtful strategy.
