Beef stew is in the crockpot. We both work the next few days, so I'm starting stew so we will have something to grab on the way out of the door. I baked up some sourdough bread too. I fed my starter early yesterday morning, it was ready last night, so I mixed up 3 loaves, let them set overnight for the little ng fermentation, and baked them this morning.

Finished it off in the house...all that work for this one jar of absolute deliciousness 💖

Eggs Benedict in the morning is a treat. I've got it down to a science. I love my oversized muffin pan from pampered chef, it makes the perfect size poached eggs. Just add 1/4 cup of water to each cup, add the eggs and bake for 10ish minutes at 400 degrees, then scoop out with a mini spatula. Using farm fresh eggs from my chickens is so wonderful! I need to get more of my sourdough English muffins made up too. Enjoy!

Pot roast is layered up, seasoning on the meat, beer has been added, lots of veggies and in the oven it goes. Perfect for a cold day, the house will smell amazing when I wake up later. Working nights isn't my favorite thing to do, but making sure there's a good meal for later is something I enjoy.

When your granddaughter has the flu, and pukes all over her favorite security blanket/cow....but it can't go in the washing machine....you clean all the puke off, brushing with a wet brush then sanitize it...aka baking it👀😳. Last night was rough, because she didn't have "cow". The look on her face when she saw it today when Oma returned it...she threw out her arms and exclaimed "COW!!!!" She wrapped her little arms around it in pure joy😊. That makes it all worth it... seeing how happy she was having her cow back.

This morning was beautiful, I drove around our community, listening to our local Christian radio station WBGL and taking pictures of God's beauty. It was truly therapeutic for my soul.
