Here’s how adults are using social media according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted earlier this year:

- 81% use YouTube
- 69% use Facebook
- 40% use Instagram
- Around 30% use Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Around 20% use TikTok and Twitter

These statistics highlight which platforms are currently the most popular among adults. (Hint: using these results can help you define which apps your target customer base could be using!)
