Why posting everyday is HURTING you😓

I think we're all on the same page when I say that VISIBILITY and PRESENCE is crucial in the digital age📲 (especially recently, when almost everything transitioned to digital with the pandemic).

One touchy topic on this is: posting new content every single day.

Why? Some would say that...

🤔Posting content everyday gives the impression that one does not have a firm strategy in place
🤔It's also often seen as annoying as the audience can become too bombarded with your content

Another "school of thought" would say that...

🤔Showing up everyday increases your customer "stickiness"
🤔You put more value out in the open

There are very conflicting ideas and principles around this but I'm going with...

Neither.

For me, it's neither black nor white. There's a sweet, sweet spot between the two where you have to show up just enough to keep them interested and unconsciously asking for more and this is where social media management plays a big role in your overall business strategy!

Social Media Management can be a pain in the ass BUT being able to maximize it will do your business ✨wonders✨

It's too late now... 😟

That's often what people say when they think of doing something.

But it got me thinking... Isn't this just a convenient excuse so we don't actually make a move? So we don't actually take action?

And it got me thinking more... Behind this common response, what is it we're REALLY afraid of? 🧐

Failure? Pity? Shame? Rejection? Lack of resources? Regardless of our fears, it's something we need to learn to overcome at one point in our lives. And yes, it might take time for our actions to bear fruit but I've always liked a Chinese proverb that goes like this...

“The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is now." 🌿

It might take a while - months, five years, heck, even 20 years before we can reap what we sow. But don't let that keep you from sowing. You're never too late in the game because the next best time is always the one you have: the present🌟

What have you always wanted to do but never got around to doing it?

I'M DONE. I QUIT. 🙅‍♀️

I quit from being someone who doesn't show up to someone who has committed to be more visible to my audience.

I'm done wasting time going back and forth, being indecisive, and pushing ex*****on back.

I used to doubt and mull over showing up online and it got me thinking - what's the point? What good will it do to me or to my business? Do I really have to do this? 😕

Eventually, I found the answer to be YES.

And this is not the one-time, one-day thing kind of "yes"... 😌

It's the "Yes, I have decided to show up and impart value to the people who need it."

"Yes, I'm gonna do this by establishing a schedule I'm religiously going to follow." 🗓

"Yes, I'm investing on tools and people to help me keep doing this."

And that's the woman I became - that's who I am today and that's who I choose to be every single day (well, not literally. It's counterintuitive to have a post up every day - and I'll be deep diving on this soon so watch out for it😉)

If you think it's time for you to stop pacing back and forth about something, THIS IS THE SIGN. It's time for you to show up - not just for your audience, but also for you.

You’re wasting too much time⏰

You have no clear idea what other tasks you need to do.

You’re burdening yourself with tasks that you aren’t supposed to do.

Or you’re too overwhelmed trying to do everything at once, you end up doing nothing at all😥

Relatable? Let me tell you four effective tips that helped me work efficiently and in effect, give me more time😌 (some of these tips are highly recommended by Forbes as well!)

1. Maximize free tools such as Clickup or Canva – Clickup is such a lifesaver! It helps me visualize what I’ve finished and what I’ve yet to do. (and no, we are not sponsored🤪)

2. Stop multitasking – Doing multiple things at once seems ideal, but it’s not humanly possible and you end up settling for mediocrity. You’ll find that you get things done faster if you focus one at a time.

3. Do things with intention – Before I start working on anything, I ask myself, “Should I be doing this?” If the answer is yes, ask yourself again, “Can I find an expert who knows how to do this well?” and do so (don’t be afraid to seek help from your colleagues!🤗)

4. Understand how you work – Do the biggest tasks when you’re most alert. I find that I’m most productive during evenings and early mornings, how about you?

You don’t have to hustle hard for hard-earned money. Do yourself a favor by doing these and just watch how much time you’ll free up✔️

Law of Attraction? Manifestation?

Whatever it's called, the art of such has been present since the olden days; time and time again, it has proven its effectiveness😌

But what exactly makes this true?

The secret to manifesting is to ✨ complement it with action ✨ — actually putting in the work to achieve what you believe.

The more you tap into your own intuition and manifest it, the more it will really come to be! As you chant it in your head over and over again, you’ll eventually take the necessary measures to accomplish it😉

Without action, manifestation on its own is simply daydreaming, and I hate to say this but you’ll get nowhere when you’re stuck in your head😓

Manifest, do your best, and watch as you reach success💕✨

This is probably humanly impossible🤪 because time is not something we can create out of nothing. It just is.

But just think about it... If you DID have an extra 30 hours a week, how would you spend it? 🤔

Spend time with your family?
Move forward with your passion project?

Catch up on your favorite tv show?
Work on your new business strategy?

SLEEP🛌💤

Everyone says "health is wealth." Well, for good reason! If I'm not in my best shape, I wouldn't be able to perform at my best for my clients, my business, and my family😌

Either way, whatever it is you decide to do, I trust you will make the wise decision. Not just for your family or for your business. But ultimately, for yourself.

Do you consider yourself successful? 💎

You might immediately start shaking your head saying "no" because you can’t match up to your co-worker who just got a promotion.

Or because you aren’t the CEO earning 10 times more than you're supposed to be👩🏻‍💻

But here's my two cents about it:

I say YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL; you just don’t see it yet😌

See, success shouldn’t be measured relatively to the accomplishments of others. This is something you need to understand – YOU define YOUR success. Not your co-worker, not your family, nor your friends.

Your metrics for your success should come from you and you only. Because you have your own journey and others have their own too. You can’t compare your Chapter 2 to their Chapter 30📖

Now let me ask you again – do you consider yourself a successful person? Maybe this time around, you can confidently answer “YES” 😌

Do you want to have a 6-digit income?

I’m sure all of us at some point wished to have it all.

🚘a flashy car
🏛an enormous mansion.

Sure, it’s THE dream, but… have you ever asked yourself “is it REALLY what I want?” 🤔

We think we want money and riches. But maybe... just maybe, that’s not all there is to it.

COMFORT🍃

When you delve deeper, you find that it’s comfort we all want.

We long for that comfortable lifestyle a 6-digit income gives us. Not having to worry about paying the bills, how to pay for your kid's college, paying for rent each month, or paying for credit card bills. 💵 To be able to buy what you want for you and your family both needs and wants. To work less for more. To not to have to go out in this pandemic and risk getting sick🤒

Deep down, it’s the time and freedom money bring us that we actually truly desire, what our hearts yearn for💕

So when you’re feeling a little lost in the daily grind, remember what it's all for. Remember your WHYs. You’re working not for the money per se, but also the safety and stability that it can bring.

Keep your chin up and take it one moment at a time. One day you will be able to give that level of comfort you so desire to the people you love and cherish😌🥰

DON'T SCALE YOUR BUSINESS.

⛔️Wait, don't take this the wrong way!⛔️

What I mean to say is don't scale your business not until you've crossed off the following in your list:

✔️Stability - with every buliding or infrastructure, a good solid foundation is necessary before you can start building further and the same goes for every business! 🏙A steady and stable business is a pre-requisite before you can scale because if not, it might just fizzle out.

✔️Plans & Strategies - when thinking about scaling your business, planning usually takes twice the time than executing it. Make sure you use this time to sort out everything, secure each stage, and prepare your contingencies plans because as much as we would want to avoid complications, sometimes they still find their way back to us (blame Murphy's Law!🤪)

✔️Resources - plans and roadmaps are nothing without the resources to back it up. Make sure you have more than what you need because you'll never know when you'll need a buffer. It's best to be covered when that dreaded time comes💰

✔️When you're ready - and by ready I don't mean "meh" ready but rather, emotionally, mentally, financially, and physically ready because I tell you it's gonna be like starting all over again (remember the very first time you started out with your business?) but this time, with more at stake since you already have your business up and running - you're basically building on that and if things go south, you might wreak havoc on everything you've worked so hard for and we don’t want that!😫

The new Instagram algorithm will work for and with you as long as you're VISIBLE and to do that, you have a few things to consider:

❗️Value - what type of content do you put out there? Does it resonate well with your chosen audience? You'll know more about this once you check the numbers behind your posts. The analytics will tell you what works and what doesn't with your potential clients📊

❗️Consistency - Instagram is soooooo smart, it tracks your presence a.k.a your prime time, how long you're in Instagram in a day, how often you post, etc so make sure you have a fixed and regular content schedule📆 Offhand, posting everyday might seem logical if you want to be as consistent as you can be but this will only clutter your audience's feed and might vibe off as annoying. On the flipside, you don't want to just post once a week since your audience might forget you and you'll get drowned out by everyone else. It's all about finding the right balance between the two⚖️

❗️Engagement - do you reply to comments? Direct Messages? IG Story? Instagram sees EVERYTHING👀 and you're totally at a disadvantage if you don't since you're missing out on opportunities to build relationships. Strike a conversation. Engage with your potential clients on a regular basis. Nowadays, people are more particular with relationship over the service you can actually provide.

There's more where that came from but I don't want to bombard you with all those technicalities.
