The Carlisle Floyd Centennial to Celebrate 100 Years Of American Composers’ Legacy at Carnegie Hall, June 20.

Hosted by composer Jake Heggie and conducted by Christopher James Ray, the evening features performances by Susan Graham, Gabriella Reyes, Edward Nelson, Reginald Smith Jr., Ryan McKinny, the Florida State University and University of Houston choirs, and special guests. The concert will also honor Benjamin R. Sokol as the inaugural recipient of the Carlisle Floyd Prize for Voice, presented in partnership with the Savannah VOICE Festival.

Just in! 84 Bells, A new work by composer David Cieri for orchestra, choir, and the bells Gaudí designed for the Sagrada Família, to premiere in Barcelona on June 10, 2026.

Marin Alsop conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra and choirs from the Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Catalana in a major centennial tribute now featuring two world premieres at the Palau de la Música Catalana, marking 100 years since Antoni Gaudí’s death

A free public concert, as part of the Year of Gaudí events, featuring 84 Bells, will take place the following evening at the F1 Fan Zone at Plaça de Catalunya

Scored for harpsichord and string quartet, the piece also features violinists Desirée Ruhstrat and Charlene Kluegel, violist Margaret O’Malley, and cellist David Cunliffe.
