Ammi always proudly reminds me, “you were born on a Friday morning in the month of Ramadan.”
Sometimes I’m afraid of turning a page. To a new chapter. But Allah always reminds me. And I’m so grateful for the reminders. Keeps me moving forward.

This photo means a lot to me. I took it weeks ago while on a flight to Siem Reap. He was stroking her head the entire flight. It was such a beautiful moment, I wanted to capture it. I never saw their faces and I’ll probably never see them again. But I prayed for them. And their happiness. Can you pray for them too?
May Allah increase their love and be a means to success in this world and in the hereafter.
Imagine when they finally see the mound of prayers in front of them of all the strangers who prayed for their love?

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

You must understand one thing, my best adventures were done alongside people I love. Though there is a lot more give and take traveling with another, I found it deeply more rewarding and helpful in understanding myself.
Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed backpacking through part of Southeast Asia alone. But I also realized how much more fun it would have been with a partner-in-crime alongside me. So insha’Allah here’s to having a partner-in-crime the next time I travel.
And if there isn’t, no worries. More for me 🙂.
Also, my best traveling was done in this country. I love this country. I’ve been to 44 states so far. I will never get tired of exploring these United States. My home. Best place on earth. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 🙂.

6:44PM.
It’s odd how homes become houses. They really aren’t yours anymore. I’ve always realized this but now more so than ever before as I stepped up to the front door. My place is somewhere else. Not sure where exactly if I want to be completely honest.
But I have no doubt Allah is guiding me to my place.
So just for right now, I’ll be here. Resting my bones for a couple days. And then who knows 🙂
