Storm Lawn & Snow

This website project highlights a complete rebuild and brand refresh completed by Minnesota Design Studio for Storm Lawn & Snow, a professional lawn care and snow removal company serving Mankato and Southern Minnesota. The primary goal was to modernize the company’s website, improve usability across all devices, and create a clear and intuitive experience for customers looking to request services throughout the year.

The new site was designed with a mobile first approach and optimized for seamless performance on desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices. Clean layouts, refined typography, and a strong visual hierarchy guide visitors through key services while keeping important calls to action easy to find. The design balances visual impact with clarity, helping users quickly understand available services and take the next step.

A major focus of this project was reorganizing site structure and navigation. Outdated pages were removed, content was refined, and services were grouped under clearer menu sections to improve usability and search visibility. Strategic imagery and consistent branding reinforce trust and professionalism while reflecting the dependable reputation Storm Lawn & Snow has built locally.

La Vita Espresso Logo Project Overview

This logo project was a great collaboration for Minnesota Design Studio. Rich came to us with a clear vision for updating the La Vita Espresso brand, and from that starting point the concept began to take shape. The focus was on creating a refined LV monogram with a cat silhouette worked naturally into the design so the mark would feel high end, clean, and memorable.

Minnesota Design Studio explored several variations and polished the details until the logo captured the elegant look the client was aiming for. The final result has a smooth metallic feel, balanced proportions, and enough character to stand strong on both digital and print surfaces.

Once everything was finalized, the complete package of logo files was created in all common formats and color variations so the brand can be used everywhere it needs to be seen. From web to social media to basic office printing, the logo is fully ready for use.
Overall, this was an enjoyable project and Minnesota Design Studio is proud of how the final branding came together for La Vita Espresso.

Recent Logo Project: The Hot Air Balloon Experience

Minnesota Design Studio recently wrapped up a custom logo project for The Hot Air Balloon Experience, and we’re excited to share how it turned out. The client wanted a design that felt artistic, personal, and true to the character of their hand-painted hot air balloon. They also needed something flexible enough to work on apparel, stickers, gift certificates, and all kinds of merch.

The starting idea was simple: a woman inside a balloon silhouette, with additional balloons drifting in the background. From there, we explored color pulls from the artwork on their balloon, refined the illustration, and found a layout that captured the atmosphere they wanted — intimate, unique, and visually memorable.

The Hot Air Balloon Experience hosts events like tethered flights, educational sessions, night glows, weddings, and hands-on balloon involvement from setup to pack-down. Their approach is very personal and customer-focused, and we wanted the logo to reflect that feeling. You can learn more about their experiences at https://minnesotaballoonrides.com/

This logo will be used on their website and throughout their merch line, and a secondary version with their web address will be created when needed.

We recently migrated the Radiology International website from Wix to WordPress while preserving the same familiar design and layout. The goal wasn’t to change the look, but to strengthen the site’s foundation and make it easier to manage moving forward.

With the switch to WordPress, the site now benefits from advanced SEO capabilities, more flexible content control, and greater opportunities for ongoing optimization.
