Join in the Holiday Fun! This competition is open to anyone in the 65704 area. There is no charge to enter and you just might be one of the top entries! Prizes will be $100, $50 and $25 for the best three. Judging will be on Wednesday evening, December 17, so there is still plenty of time to decorate and show your holiday spirit.

Tossed out several pounds of Tootsie Rolls to the kids at the Wilder Day parade this weekend. If you missed it, 2025 was one of the best Wilder Day events in decades. It is not to early to mark your calendar for the last weekend in September 2026.
Saturday, October 4th is Norwood's Farmer's Day celebration. One of my favorite things about Farmer's Day is eating some of Tim Bruffett's fried fish.
