Most men get this wrong. Talking about emotions isn’t weakness it’s actually one of the strongest things a man can do.

According to psychologists and neuroscientists, emotional openness helps lower stress responses in the brain and increases oxytocin the hormone connected to trust, bonding, and emotional safety. It also reduces cortisol, the stress hormone that keeps people emotionally guarded and reactive.

A lot of men aren’t just afraid of their own emotions they’re afraid of the intensity of other people’s emotions too. Especially in relationships. Because opening up means losing control, becoming vulnerable, and risking rejection or discomfort.

But avoiding emotional conversations doesn’t protect relationships it slowly disconnects them.

I’ve personally seen relationships end not because people didn’t love each other, but because they were afraid to communicate honestly, listen deeply, and handle emotional intensity together.

And this doesn’t just apply to dating.

The ability to communicate emotions, listen without defensiveness, and create emotional safety also makes you a better leader, friend, business partner, and employer.

Because people trust people who make them feel heard.

Emotional intelligence isn’t soft. It’s a skill.
And if you master it, it will deepen almost every relationship in your life.

This is how you handle almost any argument using communication skills instead of emotions.

I hear more and more people saying that AI is making them more productive, helping them get more done, and saving them hours of time every week.

But here’s the question I keep thinking about:

Are we becoming less intelligent because of AI?

More and more, it feels like we’re becoming prompt generators — asking AI for ideas, creativity, answers, strategies, even thoughts we used to work through ourselves.

AI feeds the information back to us instantly.

But what happens to human creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving over time if we stop exercising those muscles ourselves?

Are we truly progressing?
Or are we slowly making ourselves obsolete as AI continues to learn, evolve, and eventually may not even need our prompts anymore?

Higher education needs marketing.

That may sound obvious, but too many institutions still treat marketing like an afterthought.

Colleges and universities are not charities. They are organizations that need enrollment, visibility, trust, and a clear message in the marketplace.

It’s sad to see institutions that have been around for decades close their doors because enrollment dropped. Many try to save themselves by changing programs or adjusting curriculum — and yes, that matters.

But the first step should always be an honest assessment.

Why are you in this position?
Where are the holes?
Is it the messaging?
The audience?
The admissions process?
The brand?
The student experience?

Enrollment problems are rarely caused by one thing.

You need a coordinated plan, a strong marketing team, and the willingness to look at the real issues before it’s too late.

If higher education institutions don’t take the time to assess, adapt, and market themselves properly, many more will be facing very difficult decisions in the years ahead.
