Big Eye Design LLC wins again! Big Eye Design LLC has just been awarded a 2013 American Package Design Award for the design and production of The Dad’s Root Beer Company’s 75th Anniversary Retro Family Cans and 12 Pack packaging.
For their 75th Anniversary, Dad's Root Beer Company hired Big Eye Design to recreate can designs from their historic past. The 40's, 50's 60's and 70's were represented by Retro Cans, and the 12 Can Pack connected them as a family concept with the 75th Logo and packaging, all designed and produced by Big Eye Design.
The feat was made more interesting by the fact that all of the graphics were recreated using vector-based illustrations, a personal triumph for Tony Pouncey as an illustrator. It is the fifth time and third consecutive year that Tony has won this prestigious award, and it places Big Eye Design in the same category with the finest package design firms in the United States. All of the winners will soon be published in Graphic Design USA Magazine, as well as on their website.

Big Eye Design has just been awarded a 2011 American Package Design Award for the 2010 Redesign of Power Trip Beverages Energy Drinks! This is a very prestigious award and will be showcased in the Award Issue of Graphic Design USA later this year!
