Congrats to 10/23 Construction for an amazing designer home! We have yet to see one of their homes that does not meet or exceed the one that came before. And the finishes are *chef's kiss*.

Taryn, our Social Media Manager, is the newest member of the PXD Creative team. Not only is she a master of the Insta-book-ter… Face-ter-gram… she has impeccable style. Here are some other fun facts about Taryn.

Q: What is your go-to comfort-binge show?
A: It has to be the Great British Bake-Off. They're all so wonderful to each other!

Q: What is the trip you most want to take, but haven't yet?
A: I desperately want to go on a tour around Asia, specifically Vietnam and Thailand. It's the food! I have del-issues.

Q: What is the most unusual illness you've ever had?
A: I have what I affectionally call "Fainting Goat Syndrome", also known as syncope. If I get hurt suddenly, sometimes I'll just faint. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it's super scary and then funny every time. If you ever see it, just wait a few minutes before laughing, please!

Q: What is a content you once won?
A: I was once on a team that won Geek Trivia at DragonCon, the biggest sci fi/fantasy convention in the Southeast U.S. No small feat! I didn't contribute much, but I got to touch the trophy!

Q: What is the one feature you'd add to Instagram, if you were put in charge?
A: I had to answer this question! Honestly, better location of the "Create A Post" button. It's impossible to find if you don't know where to look! Not very user-friendly in my opinion.

Our Content Development Manager, and resident environmentalist, Jim, can usually be found playing in the dirt or biking around Atlanta. Here are a few more interesting tidbits about him.

Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: Forest Green

Q: As a little kid, what was at first job you wanted?
A: I guess an arborist? I walked around as a little kid with leafy branches that I called my trees that I planted around the neighborhood (I don’t remember doing this - but my family teases me about it) - so it’s no surprise I have a green thumb (I have a houseplant that is 42 years old) and I’m currently co-managing a community garden as a volunteer.

Q: What’s your most prized collection?
A: I collect bowls and boxes on my travels. Third world countries tend to have beautiful handmade bowls, while Western countries do ornate boxes.

Q: What’s your biggest not so serious fear?
A: Choking on a fish bone.

Q: What was the first concert you attended as a teenager?
A: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons performed by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra when the country was still the Soviet Union (I was traveling with my parents when I was 14). If you’re talking pop culture, the Thompson Twins.

Q: What was your most interesting or exciting celebrity sighting?
A: Growing up, my next-door neighbor was Neal Armstrong’s brother. I met him shortly after the moon landing and he was wearing a ball cap and sunglasses because he was already tired of all the attention (imagine what it would be like now!).

Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: Blue

Q: What would you say is your proudest atypical accomplishment?
A: I have an ability to excel at pop culture trivia. I’m especially good at movies and television, whether I’ve seen them or not.

Q: What’s your biggest not so serious fear?
A: Spiders. Hate them. Thanks Mom!

Q: Who’s your celebrity crush?
A: Currently Justin Baldoni.

Q: What’s the most unusual or severe illness you’ve ever had?
A: I actually had Bell’s Palsy.

Q: What’s your most prized collection?
A: That would definitely be my music CDs…over 4000 and counting. And yes, I know it’s all about streaming these days, but I like having a physical copy.

A: Black. Crisp, clean, and their lives matter.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
A: Hands down, Matt Bomer. Next Question.

Q: What’s something you were embarrassingly late to realize?
A: That Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader were the same person. Before the 2020 lockdown, I had only seen one of the Star Wars movies. A Facebook post dropped the secret 15 minutes before I would have found out in real-time.

Q: What’s the first concert you attended as a teenager?
A: Well…Shawn Mendes was my concert, and I was 32 years old.

Q: What’s a contest that you once won?
A: I won a radio contest once; it was Battle of the Sexes.
