If I’m honest i didn’t cry until I saw her casket! Yes I know that she was old, lived a great life and she is now in heaven with her God & her son. I know she’s at peace. But the granddaughter in me just knew another person who used to see me so brightly is now gone. Makes your world feel a little dimmer. In the same sentence I can say that my children had an amazing GREAT GRANDMOTHER that they got to know not just hear about. So many people can’t say that. Grief is weird. You can see a bit of light when you’re in a storm!!

This past weekend I had the honor of working alongside my good brother , representing at the golf tournament.

And y’all know I’m always going to find my way to a good conversation…

While I was over at the table talking with the ladies, I casually mentioned that my brother .woods.771 had just gifted me a bottle for my birthday last month — because real ones know I love a good pour. 🍷

They looked at me like, “Oh really?”
And I said, “Don’t worry… I got you when I get home.” 😌

Because if it’s one thing about me — I don’t gatekeep good food, good drinks, or good people.

Hospitality is about connection. And this weekend? That’s exactly what it felt like

Pulled up to the FIRST Annual HIGH Tower Festival on Buford Highway and baby… this was a whole experience.

Y’all see me out here on Atlanta News First with my new cousin! 😂✨

Listen… the weather said, “Ma’am, it’s time.”
And I had no choice but to bring these very pale legs outside into the spring streets. 🌸☀️

And let me tell you — the Dogwood Festival did NOT disappoint.

I was outside with my for real cousin 🫦 CeCe and her amazing mom (technically my cousin but has always felt like an aunt!)

We started the day the RIGHT way…
with margaritas from Belle’s Pour Decisions 🍹
because good decisions were clearly being made. 😂

The weather? Perfect.
The vibes? Even better.
And yes — I felt safe and comfortable the entire time, which matters. Now let’s talk…

Every time I come to Woodbridge, there’s ONE stop that is non-negotiable… Wegmans Food Markets.

Listen… I love this store so much, if they opened one in Atlanta, I’d become a faithful shopper immediately. No hesitation. 😂

Now if you know me, you know I have a soft spot for South African wines — and babyyyy .wines is quickly becoming a favorite. The crispness? Chef’s kiss. 🍷

One day I’m taking this love all the way to South Africa for a full wine tasting experience (yes, that was manifestation — mind your business ✨).

And let’s be clear… I brought a bottle back to Atlanta.
Okay… I bought two.
Only one made it to the car. 😌
