Free Curb Alert! Hey local folks. We usually try to donate our partial or used rolls to makerspaces or to students but these are old & in rough shape and will likely be difficult to work with.

We're doing some fall cleaning and found two boxes of old semi used or nearly used up spools of filament. Maybe someone will want this before we toss it. Both boxes will be outside in the back today/tomorrow. You must take the whole lot. No picking through. They will be dumped over the weekend.

Please note! These have been stored sad & forgotten in the back corner of a non-climate controlled warehouse space for... uh... a while? lol Perhaps since 2019 (the year we moved to this space)

They are open, dusty, and covered in cobwebs. We do NOT guarantee usability or that any of this filament is actually usable in your 3D printer (or that it won't clog up your printer!))

Nothing fancy, some ABS, PETG, PLA, Z-HIPS, Z-ultrat.

Yes, it is free.

ps. If you send us a messages that you'll be by next week we can hold it for you, BUT it will be first come first claim till you show up. (We will let you know if they are gone)

That warm and fuzzy feeling when you get a part and during what was supposed to be a simple reverse engineering job for replacement inventory, the scope naturally evolves into an optimization process.

What was multiple separate pieces of hard to source injection molded plastic and metal (along with a cumbersome manual assembly and installation step) turns into a quick, one part, screw on solution. No assembly required.

A professional & collaborative effort on a small detail. We are grateful for clients who understand the flexibility & benifits of 3D design & 3D printing and also appreciate what our attention to detail and expertise can bring to their table.

Brilliant inventions and fascinating stories of product development for a better world.

Biomedical engineer Michelle Khine, pictured here, knew that parts of the world with limited healthcare often had drugs to treat disease, but not the capacity to diagnose it early. So, she adapted her favorite childhood toy—Shrinky Dinks—into a low-cost device for medical diagnostic tests.

Khine first created patterns on Shrinky Dinks sheets with a laser printer. When she baked the Shrinky Dinks, the ink left ridges that she used as a mold, creating channels to hold small amount of bodily fluids, like blood or saliva, for testing. Khine’s inexpensive miniature devices make diagnosing treatable diseases more accessible and affordable!

Whenever we print in large format clear resin, I always feel like we should be adding a strobe light, cracking some glow sticks, and blasting some Techno at the same time. 😄
