Not everyone likes to network the same way! While some people thrive in the traditional mixer, others would rather do just about anything else.
Changing up your networking event formats to accommodate all kinds of personalities can be a game-changer for boosting member attendance at your events.
Here are a few ideas to try:
🚶 Walk & Talk
Get outside and give members a chance to connect while getting some fresh air and exercise. Having an activity to focus can make connecting feel easier and more natural.
🤝 Volunteer & Connect
Partner with a local nonprofit for a service project. There's something special about working toward a shared goal that helps people connect on a deeper level.
🍽️ Lunch Roulette
Randomly assign members to small lunch groups each month. Adding structure to your event like this is a great way to relieve some pressure and help members meet people they might not otherwise connect with.
A little variety can go a long way in helping more members find their place and get value from their membership.
