I am starting a new LinkedIn series called Digital Trust in Real Estate.
The first article is titled: The Website Is Part of the Transaction
For years, I have thought about websites through the lens of design, development, SEO, content, usability, and conversion.
But the more I work in the real estate and 1031 exchange space, the more I see that a website is not just a marketing asset.
It is part of the trust-building process for highly complex financial services and transactions.
Before someone fills out a form, makes a call, asks a CPA for a recommendation, refers a client, or takes the next step in a complex transaction, they often interact with the website first.
They are not just looking for information.
They are looking for clarity, confidence, credibility, and direction.
That changes how we should think about digital experience in real estate.
The website is not separate from the transaction.
It is often already participating in it.
