We know the cost of just about everything has gone up. And while we certainly can’t control taxes, shipping, or what things cost us, we can control how we manage our business.
We work really hard to be good stewards of what we have, watch our costs, plan ahead, and run Melise’s responsibly. That’s what has allowed us to keep our HOCO pricing consistent even while our own costs — and taxes — continue to climb.
Why?
Because Homecoming is expensive enough we know this isn’t just a suit. It’s dinner, flowers, pictures, tickets, shoes, hair, and approximately 847 other things that somehow appear between “Mom, I’m going to Homecoming” and the actual dance. 😂
BUT — we need your help keeping it that way!
If you don’t KNOW the dress color yet, WAIT TO ORDER THE TIE. You can still come in, get measured and get everything else handled!
And please, for the love of all things formalwear, don’t tell us “it’s blue.” 😂
Is it navy? Royal? Dusty blue? Slate blue? French blue? Baby blue? Some mysterious shade called Moonlit Coastal Hydrangea that only exists in one bridesmaid dress factory?! WE NEED DETAILS. 🤣
Bring us a picture when you can. Even better, bring the dress or a fabric swatch.
Getting it right the first time means fewer exchanges, less extra shipping and fewer unnecessary costs — and that helps us continue keeping YOUR prices down.
So don’t wait until HOCO week.

Something most don't think of but we can still incur cost AFTER you've brought your suit back. Bring it back LATE and that's added billing and shipping on US. So when we charge you the $25 late fee per day, just know that's our way of not punishing everyone else who kept their word and did what they said they would do.
You wanted your day to be perfect and not rushed and we want that for the person after you too. So be prepared to bag all of your suit up and bring it back the next day. Double check ALL of your items are in and come during the SPECIFIC times for return.
We aren't asking a lot, but just know we work hard to provide a value to your special day. What other business do you know that can say....
