About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures (e.g., framing, doors, windows, cabinetry)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans
Ensure work meets safety guidelines and building codes
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Collaborate with other trades and project managers
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter (3+ years preferred)
Proficient in using carpentry tools and machinery
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have:
OSHA certification
Specialty skills (finish carpentry, cabinetry, custom furniture, etc.)
Own tools and equipment
