We are so incredibly honored to receive the Distinguished Service Business Award. We were handed this award at the annual LSCP dinner on Thursday amongst our family, friends and community members & it was truly overwhelming.

As we approach 5 years of getting the keys to LSP, it’s a much needed & fun time to reflect on our journey. This shop has changed SO much since May of 2021 and I couldn’t be more proud of the things we’ve been able to accomplish. We are a small & mighty group of individuals with an unwavering commitment to our community, which reflects in how we do business. I’m extremely proud of the team we have here, and the job that they do so well.

There are a lot of people who’ve made these last 5 years possible. A short list would be Tom, who started this shop in 1973 and laid the groundwork for an amazing local institution. To Alex, MJ, Todd, Yonk, Christian, Mary & the crew at . If it wasn’t for you, we would have never been able to put together something like this, and we are so grateful for it.

Another huge thank you to our crew, and of course our local community & customers. YOU are the ones who give us the privilege to make a living in this amazing little town, and we will be forever thankful for that.

! It’s been a minute since we’ve done one of these! Rob is our new(ish) Offset Press Operator. He’s the man behind the ink when it comes to our offset program. Rob has been in the industry for over 40 years & was originally employed here at Lake Superior Press in the 80’s! Rob joined our crew last May & we are stoked to have his expertise on board.

Here’s an actual (non April Fools) equipment deep dive! Check out our new “Square Fold” feature that we added with our new V4100. We do a ton of stitched books, and this new Square Fold service is insane. The end product is SO much nicer than the standard stitched spine 🦾

Equipment deep dive! We decided to show off a nice little feature that our new-to-us QM-46-2 has. This press is equipped with a DINK’r! This feature greatly cuts down on waste when jobs are incorrectly printed. Stoked to have it up and running!
