The emotional maturity needed to be authentically seen online is wildly underestimated.
It can be such a rollercoaster of emotions, where you are often bracing for potential embarrassment, alienation, criticism, or indifference. This is why many people choose to hide.
I understand why some people are uncomfortable with self-promotion or personal branding. Because being authentically present online every day isn't easy.
I've shown up some days and posted things that not everyone agrees with. My content has changed over the years, and the increased frequency might have been unsettling for some, especially those who have followed my personal accounts for years.
However, I rarely feel the need to justify myself. I do this daily for my family, for anyone seeking inspiration, and honestly, for myself. Creating—whether it's writing, content creation, video editing, or design—it's all therapeutic for me. It's a creative outlet that I am grateful to have.
To all of you who show up online every day, you inspire me immensely!
