A colleague of mine recently lodged at Wusum Hotel, and after hearing some of the narratives circulating online, I decided to ask about his honest experience. Surprisingly, his experience was completely different.
According to him, the room was clean, comfortable, and properly maintained. The bedsheets were neat and fresh, the environment was calm, and he did not experience any issues with damp rooms or rodents during his stay. He also mentioned that the staff were professional, respectful, and responsive whenever assistance was needed.
I believe it is important to understand that experiences can vary, and while no hotel is perfect, it is also fair to acknowledge positive experiences when they happen. From what my colleague shared, Wusum Hotel continues to provide a decent and comfortable hospitality experience for many guests visiting Makeni.
