Made a Bilgy tent for myself. Sets up with just my hiking poles.
Not perfect as I made it in the middle of the night, and somehow missed printing a page of instructions (so I made a few guesses)
But it sets up, seems to be easy to get in and out and is super lightweight.
I will have to test it out this fall.

Have not posted on the business page for a while. Life is funny. And God has a sense of humor, and no scheduled I understand.
No work comes in so I tackle other important projects. Then orders roll in thru my email so fast, I work day and night.
Always a blessing and I am grateful for all of it.
Purchased land last year and working to move there this year. It will be interesting to start in a small space and build a space to meet my needs. I will only take on projects that I know I can complete, going forward. Custom work on request and Scouting work.
Need to do this right and move quickly, as I already have orders for next spring.

I saw this amazing sculpture posted on another group, and thought you all would appreciate how beautiful it is! Look at the detail in that treadle machine and the seamstress - WOW! The author said the post was found originally by him in the group Steampunk Tendencies, and the artist is Andrew Whitehead from Australia. I am in awe - simply Fabulous!

When setting the hat press always make sure the thing is not set to Celsius. 305F works great. 305 Celsius will melt the hat and almost set it on fire in 20 seconds

Working on cleaning up my work space. I had 2 sewing tables in boxes waiting to be set up.
1 was for My Sailrite machine. It has a wonderful case and can be portable. But I know I will use it more in the table even if I had not yet ordered the servo motor. Set the table up. All good right until I went to install the machine. It had the wrong pins. Ugg I can get them but it was more work to put the machine back in the box for safety and usability right now. On the upside the cover is back on it to keep the dust out while I keep working.
The other table I believe a a solid blank top. I got it that way so I could use it for any of my other portable machines.

About 200 bags out the door to customers in the last 2 months. In several different states.
About 40 more to go for this summer. Then on to making as many as I can to stock up for next year.

Some of the many things, on the stack as to why I had to close for a while. I will be cleaning out all extra samples and supplies soon to cover expenses this year. Good thing, I have paid off the equipment that I have here.

Covid Sucks you do not want to have it, even if you do not wind up in the hospital, it takes a long time to get over it.

I had supply's and product on hand for 2 large events this spring. 1 cancelled outright, 1 post phoned for a year. understandable with the Virus. Product can sit on shelves no worries, but it still cost time and money to get it ready and now storage for a year.

I had over a 100+ of the Big bags I make for crews traveling to Philmont, on order. All the supplies are here and most of it was cut and ready for assembly. Several were already being assembled. Again it can sit and I will just work on them latter this year, to have ready next year. Crews rescheduling will get the colors previously ordered, new Crews will get to choose from on hand colors first.

I had supplies on hand for custom Camping gear, orders got cancelled. I fully understand as people no longer have jobs.

The Biggest Kicker is: Then I had someone that just seemed off, pushing hard for 300-shirts for "Black Lives Matter". I have no problem setting the job up and ordering supplies. I will support the movement, If I can Art is ready and shirts were ordered.
But when they keep pushing to pay, before I send an invoice and do not want to discuss prices. And will not use PayPal, I got Leary of the whole thing. They then tell me they are in one location, but their phone number comes from somewhere else. And keep saying things like we can both make a lot of money. Charge my card Now. When I say NO they keep pushing. I would rather close now, liquidate all the supplies from over the years as the business changed and grew. Totally restructure, and most likely lose some money on it all. Than ever play that game.

If you are someone looking to scam someone, you came to the wrong place.

If you are local and know me, I will be up running again this fall, but limited to those I know. My business was never about growing big or getting rich. I just do not think like that. It was about making it, supporting family while being able to spend time with them. And helping some local groups that support youth.

Those that know me personally, If you need something get a hold of me,. I am usually at a machine creating something, or sewing fun stuff as I simply enjoy doing so. Right now i am figuring out what stays and what goes.

Those that asked about masks.I have about 100 masks done and sitting here, you probably already know the price. i have donated over a 100 around the area already. And since I have a fabric stash, I have about 300 more cutout and ready to assemble. But that will now be a week or two before I get them done.
